When my puppies are feeling poorly, I just freak. I do all sorts of things to make it better. The good news is, it usually does get better - mainly because you are watching to make sure.
One of my babies today had one eye glued shut. I freaked out. I had my hubby hold him until I could get a warm washcloth. I couldn't remember the last time I saw it open. I was afraid one of the babies punctured his eye. Within a few minutes (that seemed like an hour) his little eye was open, and he seemed fine. When it was shut, I thought he might be dying. It was horrible. Now I just keep watching him, when he got up while ago, his eye was shut again, I gently washed it off. I will definitely be keeping an eye on his eye! |
