Bella cries for probably less than 10 minutes every night when I put her in her kennel. It's a short enough time that I just ignore it.
Tonight I began really kennel training her to work on potty training. If she's not with me, she's out to potty or in her kennel. She's cried some but I keep telling her quiet. And when I'm ready to take her out, I'll only take her out when she's quiet.
Praise and treats when they're good. Tell them sternly quiet when they're not. My trainer tells me to firmly slap the top of her kennel when she cries but I don't find that necessary. |
