Thanks. I am hoping that we will find a younger dog somewhere close enough to go visit before deciding to purchase. Gin has final say in the matter. So we would prefer she met the puppy/dog before we buy.
From what I have heard on here, rescue organizations have some pretty strict rules, and I know when my niece tried to adopt, she was told no, she had too many pets already (not that we do, we have Gin and my daughter has a cat).
