[Wylie's Mom]

I noticed Wy's right eye was really starting to look irritated - so I took him in yesterday. The vet didn't know if it was a primary infection (ie, something perhaps broke skin there and became infected) or allergies. He's never had allergies before and I know they can develop any time. He's had a bit of back foot biting, but not excessive.

For those w/ allergies, have they scratched around their eyes till it's red, raw, and even a bit of blood? I may have to get him a hood! And, can it affect only ONE eye bc that seems strange to me.

I'm thinking that during play, maybe Marcel broke some of Wy's skin and perhaps it became infected. But, long story longer, I guess my question is does this sound like allergies?
