It will smell rancid. Smell a good bag and you will know if you ever have rancid food.
I bought some Eagle Pack for my cat on clearance and when I opened it, the smell was bad. I took it back and the guy working there said he had smelled worse. What a block head! I just returned it.
I just threw out the tail end of a large bag of Merricks cause it had turned bad by the time we got to the bottom. I only bought the large size that time cause it was really cheap and I got some free stuff with it. I also keep food in the freezer to make it last longer, if I need to. |
