If you have to leave her & you feel the bathroom is the best place (as far as floor, accidents, etc.) I would suggest putting a gate across the door vs. closing the door. My daughters chihuahua would go nuts when she had to be left in the bathroom with the door closed. Once we tried the gate she did better being able to see out - she's still a little nuts about being left alone (& she's eight months old now ). We have had Kodah for 12 weeks now & she has probably been left alone a TOTAL of 10 hours, but when I do leave her & Stormy, I put them in our tiled kitchen with a gate across two doors that lead into our family room & dining room - I leave music on for them so they don't hear every little noise. Six weeks is awfully young to be left so long, though ! No one that could puppysit until she gets a little older????
