I never would. Who knows, someone could come up and snatch your Yorkie away (these days it seems all too common), an animal could get him, your Yorkie could run into the street and get run over. Dogs are dogs and no matter how trained they may be, you can never be 100% sure that he will respond when called, in all situations.
At the very least, I'd put a retractable leash on him. |
