As long as we are home, Bogey doesn't "go" inside, and most times when we leave him for an hour or two he still doesn't "go". If we know we'll be gone for four hours or more, we'll put the belly band on him, 'cause it's not fair to him to expect him to hold it for more than that. He knows when his band is put on him he gets his favorite treat (chicken) & doesn't seem to mind it. It's saved me a lot of work & trouble & I also use it if we go to another home with dogs present. If he lifts, at least I'm not embarrassed.
