Janelle. You may have some luck on Petfiner or through a rescue, not necessarily a Yorkie Rescue. I've seen quite a few Yorkies that meet what you are looking for, over the past couple of years. Also, at my vet today there was an older couple that had a boy that they aquired through rescue at the age of a bit over a year. He was found hiding under a car with a broken leg. They said that they had three Yorkies and aquired all three through rescue. Also, keep your eyes in the local classifieds. A lot of people give up trying to take the time to potty train or an elderly owner passes and family just want to get rid of them. It's a plus that you want a male too because most want females so they are harder to find, although I have a male and females and truthfully by far my male was much easier all the way around. Elaine |
