My breeder was a groomer also. As soon as I got Carter home (just shy of 6 months old), I took him to be groomed.
When Carter first adopted us, he wouldn't let me roll him over to even touch his belly but now does it in delight! He stands perfectly still for me as soon as he sees his brush.
