I had to laugh at your post because I just had a similar discussion with my sister. She truly believes that when it comes to dogs one should just let nature take it's course. Her idea of natural selection, I guess. She seems to truly believe that because dogs are pets we should just let them look whatever way they end up by breeding with whoever they want. Who Knew! My first litter was for me, I was only going to do it once. I can't even describe how much I fell in love with it! Now I breed and I show and someday I hope to teach. My first several yorkies were pets. I learned alot just by owning them. Go to the shows, absorb it all. Find your passion and persue it even if no one else gets it. When you watch that beautiful pup that you bred grow up to be all that you dreamed it would be there is no greater satisfaction. You won't get rich off it anyway so do it for the love.
