She is only 5 weeks. I would give her puppy dry mixed with a bit of minced chicken or beef. I give cottage cheese a couple times per week and do not worry if they do not eat large meals.
No calcium tabs before whelping..but after is fine.
They only way the pups will suffer is if she eats nothing for days at a time..she will eat...BUT afterwards I do anything they want to get them to eat.
Some of my girls eat very little the first 4 or 5 weeks..and the pups are fat and healthy...best wishes |
