My friend got a male yorkie, and was really happy with him and his temperment, so I thought maybe I wanted a boy. Then when I found a breeder I liked, I asked about the difference between her boys and girls, and she said she found that her boys were more affectionate. She said when she walked in the room, it was usually the boys that ran up to her first. Don't get me wrong, I'm not generalizing, I know girls can be affectionate and some boys may not be, but after her saying that I wanted a boy!
