I got Pixie in January and she was 13 months old. It was nice not having to go through the puppy stage again so soon as Cali was only 1 1/2. I wanted one that was a year so I would know health history and know what she would look like. I was not disappointed, Pixie was not housebroken but trained pretty quick to pads with a few accidents still. She is more nervous as she was at the Breeders in the basement where she runs her breeding program out of, but she is getting better. She is absolutley bonded with me and did so within a day as I was afraid an older pup may miss their owners. I would ask if the pup is housebroken and vet info and see in person if possible. I talked to the breeder and she was very honest about describing Pixie and I went to see her and she was just as the breeder described. I think from now on I will get an older pup.
