NEVER let your dog off the leash when he is in an unfenced area! There are uncountable things that could happen to him, running away is only one of them! Babies change as they get older too so his behavior now won't match his behavior a month ago or in a few months in the future.
Please heed my warning.

I do want to welcome you to YT and congratulate you on getting your new baby. Please know that you will always have the comfort of knowing that we care about the two of you and will help you in any way we can. You are in for a wonderful experience as you raise him.
