Congratulations!!! Don't worry she will adjust. WHen I got Pixie in January I didn't think Cali would mind as she was use to Maya who I had first. Boy was I wrong. Cali was so upset she wouldn't come near me or Pixie and Pixie was 13 months old and raised with 2 other dogs in her pen so she was a fighter and wanted to play. For days I thought I did the wrong thing but fell so in love with Pixie I couldn't give her back. But after a few weeks Cali started to play with her and after about 6 weeks they sleep togther and stay by each other. There are times when I still think Cali would prefer Pixie not be here but they do keep each other company. Hang in there it does get better. |
