I'm wondering if anyone has advice or experience on adopting an older dog. I've had difficulty with purchasing puppies as I was recently scammed in purchasing a sick puppy. I was fortunate enough that I was able to get a refund but now searching again.
I'm thinking maybe an option would be to adopt an older dog. There is a 1 year old dog available for adoption from a breeder and he is supposed to be of quality as he is a biewer yorkie only reason for sale according to breeder is his testicles have not dropped. I don't expect to breed him so I don't think this is much of a problem.
Would greatly appreciate your input on questions I should ask breeder or things that I should take into consideration that I may not have thought of. Thanks.
