I feel bad for the person being blamed. I'm sure she would have noticed a roach inside a box that she was packing. I'm quite sure this roach had to have gotten in the box while in transit so it's certainly not fair to blame her/him. And you say you THREW AWAY the items that were sent? Come on..... couldn't they have been washed or sanitized in some way maybe? I'm sorry, I think that's going a little far. I guess being a "country girl" in TX has just made me a little more lax with these things. Not that I "welcome" these things into my life/house but I certainly wouldn't make such a deal over it. It's not like it was some big-a** rat or something. Now that would have sent me running (especially a TX-sized one!)...... |
No way in hell was I overreacting lol
I have a major (cry-uncontrollably-when-they-come-near-me) spider phobia & cockroaches are WAY bigger & WAY grosser!
Honestly, I would have rather seen the rat...I have absolutely no tolerance of big old bugs
I grew up in the foothills in North Carolina and there were roaches there, of course, but mainly there were these BIG flying Japanese beetle things w/ pinchers (they looked like roaches with big old pinchers on their heads) and I could hardly go outside in the summer time when those things were around!
Absolutely terrified of spiders, though.
