Central sounds more practical for all concerned, people in the east don't have so far to get to the west coast and people on the west coast wont have so far to go either.............HOWEVER
I'm not practical when it comes to the "best" location. Living here in CA. I feel I'm on a permanent vacation and you can count on camping near the ocean and not worry about bugs, rain, heat or humidity. It's perfect!
