I have to layer a couple different things on my "potty room" hardwood floor. First I have these disposable surgery type sheets. what they put under a patient during surgery. they are very thin but waterproof. Then I put a baby bed mattress pad down, and then the baby diapers or underpads I use for potty pads. seems time consuming, but I'm trying everything I can to save my floors. Good luck!
