The dog uses a litterbox, but is also trained to go out a doggie door. My questions are: 1. Should I attempt to train her to go in the litter box?
2. Should I attempt to train her to go outside?
3. Can she be trained to go both inside an outside?
4. She has recently been spayed. Will it be easier as her hormones
settle down. How long do you think it will take to train her?
My precious Mac came to me already trained, so this is new territory for me.

Advice will be appreciated.

I really think it all depends on your situation, I prefer mine go outside...and he does. But if you don't have the right surroundings for this, I guess litter trained would be okay...or if she will be left alone for long periods of time, she's gotta go somewhere. Don't really know that being spayed or not really makes any difference, I've always had boys. Maybe someone else will know more about that topic...
