When Jewel was first diagnosed with her illness, I started my research by emailing various veterinary hospitals. Each school has a bio of their doctors and what their specialties are along with wether they are involved in research study for a particular illness.
I had several replies and finally started to work with one doctor via phone & email. She actually contacted our vet and worked together to help Jewel.
The research to find the right doctor/school took time but for me it was definitely worth it. |
