People are crazy these days. There is only one type of Yorkie, 3-7 pounds is the standard, and there are no descriptions of sizes. Silkies do look very similar to Yorkies, but they ARE a completly different breed. Yorkies originated in England, while Silkies originated in Australia. The Silky standard is 8-10lbs, which is bigger than the Yorkie. Basically, the people who call Yorkikes teacup, standard, and English bred, are either breeders who want money, or people who don't have a cloue what they are talking about.
