I'm glad you were able to get him in to a vet. I have always been told when they shake they are in pain. I wish dogs could talk and tell ya where they hurt at. But it's up to us to get to know our pets and know their personality and know when something isn't right.
Just like when I took Louie to the vet for his shots, and I knew he seemed tired that night, which the vet said would be normal. But the next day he was way worse. He wouldn't eat, drink, take a treat, go for a walk, nothing. He would go potty but you had to be persistent with him. Then when I got home from work, he wouldn't even get up. Thats when I called the vet. I knew that this was not Louie.
When I took him in, they said he was having a bad reaction to his shots. So he had 2 more shots to make him better. By the evening he was back to his old self.
So I'm glad this all worked out for you.
