Do you have a mentor helping you? This is always good for your first whelping. You will feel beeter if there is an experienced breeder there at the whelping. I am not a breeder, but there have beem some scary moments with members on here and if I ever decided to breed I would make sure I had an experienced breeder there when she went into labor.
Did you switch her food to puppy food? Maybe she is "off her food" because of this. Maybe she has "morning sickness? How big is she? How big was the stud? |
