i totally agree with you regarding testing for Lymes disease. I actually woke up this morning with bug bites on my arms .. i assumed it was from a mosquito but when I saw the tick on baloo i freaked! started looking up all the symptoms... i will be going to the vet tomorrow and ask for the test. thanks for the info and i hope you're baby will be ok

I think ticks would be pretty common here b/c its really hot and humid here, and mountains surround us.. but they are never outside until yesterday when i decided to take them with me as i walked to my neighbor's house.
now i am worried that i didn't get the head completely out (i didn't know it was a tick when i pulled it out of his hair .. boy what a surprise i got right?) thanks everyon for you comments .. i'm still a little worried that there are more .. but i feel better (i gave him like 3 baths) ...both dogs seem oky
