I'm not sure exactly what it "means" - but I have actually seen alot of Yorkies that have that when they are pups. My best friend's Yorkie had this when she was little, but it "grew out" as her hair grew londer and it faded in time. All the Yorkies I have seen with this lose the "ring" when they are adults, and I'm just assuming that it is the same with Silky's
