Thanks for all the advice. My husband is wonderful. He loves the pets we know have and they in turn, love him. I really don't think he will hold it against me. I've done this stuff before so I actually believe he knows I will eventually win out and get the puppy. These animals are therapy for me. I suffer from depression and fibromyalgia. I am also a very caring person. I have to always take care of somebody. I can't let anyone take care of me. My sons have pets also, One has three, 2 huskies and a weimarner. The other has a St. Bernard. Those dogs eat more in a week than my will eat in a month. My husband doesn't ever want much. He gets by on very little, just his vices of smokes and drinks. This will be my money I am spending. I worked for it so I should get do what I want. All this stuff is what I'm going to tell him. Also, we are not going on vacation this year and we would have spent twice the amount of what the puppy costs on the trip. Am I making this sound any better?
