I think it depends on your husband's personality. If you think that he might permanantly resent your new baby, then its not worth it. Because if he does dislike the dog, then you'll hear about it for years.
However, it takes a really tough person to resist a yorkie puppy, and I think your husband may just fall in love with the puppy as soon as he sees him.
Just think about the situation, and whether or not the new yorkie will make your home happier, or more tense.
