Your experience sounds a lot like mine, with my 1st yorkie...I think I did everything wrong, it took along time but he(and I) finally got trained. But it wasn't his fault, I just really didn't know what I was doing(inexperienced). I learned the hard way...now my 2nd yorkie(Winston) was entirely different. I knew what to do...I did it right...he learned to pee outside the minute I brought him home, never saw the inside of the house until he peed outside...then party/praise and party some more...he got it immediately...it was different as night and day with my 2...ya just gotta be smarter then them...and persistent...and patient...it was so rewarding to have a well trained puppy. Good luck to you, don't give up on that baby, he deserves a chance.
