I don't think she is going to get big enough to breed, no matter what size the male is. It is just too hard on their little bodies, and the risk is just too great. I would look for a bigger one.

My girl was 4 pounds 10 ounces and I was concerned the whole time. She had a litter of two and I'm glad there weren't any more.
