Don't worry about it. It's like I have 2 homes also. I live with my mom but I also sleep at my bf's house for days at a time and wherever I go my two go with me. They know both homes and they love both places. They love going to my bf's cause his apt. is real big and they have tons of room to run around but they love it at my house also because my mom is there and spoils them. All their stuff are there also. They have toys and food at both places. I don't think it will bother yours at all. I think he will get accustomed to it. I also take mine when I go to my brother's house upstate, my dad's house in LI and I'm going to take them to Florida and Puerto Rico
They are travelers like me.
