He said she has something that's similar to E coli. He said she could've had it for a while, then the stress of moving brought on the symptoms. She got a shot of Baytril (possibly other things mixed in?). She was not happy about the fecal matter test
, and REALLY did not like the shot. He also gave us some Biosol to give her for 10 days.
He was looking for coccidia (sp?), but did not see it. He told us that if she still had diarrhea on Monday to bring in a stool sample and he would check it again.
I was up at 5 this morning fixing chicken and rice, and she was wolfing it down. The vet suggested I keep feeding her that, along with some carrots and peas mixed in.
She had a better bowel movement right after she ate some lunch, so hopefully she's on the mend. And I found a new vet that I like!!
