This was BIG news about 15 yrs. ago, about as big as the O.J. saga, let's see how this went... Joey owned a car repair shop...he was probably pushing 40 years old, married to a woman named Mary Jo....Amy ( who was a mere , innocent 17yrs. old) took her car in for repairs...love was in the air at the repair shop for Joey & Amy...they where doing the mattress mambo behind Mary Jo's back....Amy decides she doesn't want to share her hunk of burning love w/ Mary Jo anymore so she decides to make her disappear...Amy packs some heat in her purse & pays Mary Jo a house call...Amy pretends she's the Avon lady calling w/ a delivery..Mary Jo answers the door & BANG! right in the head...Amy leaves skid marks from the scene...Mary Jo miraculously survives...Amy's apprehended...Lover boy gets amnesia & say's he never seen Amy before in his life & doesn't know why this nut case shot his wonderful wife whom he loves w/ all his heart... Joey & Amy are point the finger at each other...but in the end the truth prevails..in spite of the affair, Mary Jo stands by her man because she doesn't want a... d-i-v-o-r-c-e- ( this dates me, Tammy Wynette) & besides this hussy trapped her man & he didn't know what he was doing....Amy is sent to the slammer..Joey is also, but he serves a lighter sentence for being w/ a minor...fast forward...Amy is released, she marries & has a child...fast forward some more...Amy & Joey are both separated from their spouses on the same day!!...it must be fate....now there's talk of a long over due reunion....that was a lovely & beautiful love story don't cha think....
