It used to be that DirecTv gave me more channels for the less money. Now, the DirecTv rates have gone up and the Cable company got more competitive with their programming. Now it's virtually the same amount of money. At least the cable company provides you with service and repair at no additional fee. Don't get me started!
I think both are a rip off, it's just a matter of which one gives better customer service.
