I went back and read your introduction post and saw that Mia is 7 weeks. Is there a way you can leave her with her breeder during the day when you are at work? Is your girlfriend almost out of school for the summer?
Sorry to sound so concerned but we have just heard some scary stories and we are concerned about the puppy. She need 24/7 care at her age. Leaving her for as long as you have indicated is too long. She is like a tiny infant.
There are altrnatives but you need to find a puppysitter or something to be with her.
