At first he seemed to be doing fine. He was alert when I went to pick him up sitting up in his carrier and looking for me when they brought him out to me. When we got home he immediately went for his food dish and I had to stop him from eating as he reached his prescribed limit by the vet. He was still hungry poor thing.

. But, I took this as a great sign of recovery. Then he went out to pee and then I put a onesie on him to keep him from licking. Although he seemed to have no interest in doing so. He soon dropped off into a nap, but when he woke up he tried to get to the door to go out, but he didn't make it and had a little dyaherrea incident. He was trying so hard to be a good boy. I called the vet to let him know and they told me this sometimes happens when the body is trying to get rid of the anesthesia, and to give him plain white rice if he still wants to eat and if there are more problems to call in the morning so they can check him out. Or go to ER if it becomes severe.
I think he will be fine, but I'm still concerned. It seems they had to do 3 tiny incisions because one of his testicles had floated up to his abdomen and was difficult to get. Thank goodness I went with the laser and the dissolvable stitches. Anyway, I had to vent. Keep Chase in your prayers that he'll be fine and not develop anymore complications. Thanks for listening.
