At 6 weeks Mia...is very young to be left alone for that long..IMO...I work from 9-5 and my bf from 8:30-4 and we got Maximus at 10 weeks...but he is never left alone for more then 4 hours at a time..I leave at 8:40 and my bf comes home at 12 to feed Maximus lunch and stay with him till 1 pm at which time he goes back to work..he then is back home at 4:15..also Maximus has the living room and it is gated off (baby gate) and puppy proofed.. (no wires or anything harmful) that he could get his paws into. Also at 6 weeks she needs to be eating 3-4 times a day at least as well as getting LOTS of interaction...she could be having a hypoglycemic attack if she is not eating during the day..is stressed etc.... I know your intentions are GREAT..and I don't mean to sound rude..but this baby should not be home alone that long..and most people would say that you should start crate training but due to the long hours away from home this would be impossible with a pup that small because she would not be able to hold her bladder. Most puppies shouldn't even be taken away from there mom before 10 weeks..and some members here have gotten them at 6-7 weeks but have been able to stay with them and give them full-time attention.
