This is exactly what I told her to do too Kelly. Steph. I realize that you feel you are doing the right thing and you did by taking her in, but you NEED to contact Puppymillrescue.com. She will not go into a kennel situation with them. They will place her and rehabilitate her in a loving foster home. They are good people and would be extremely upset to know that one of their dogs ended up this way. Legally she is still theres and the other point is that if they find out later that this went on they CAN RECLAIM her as it's in their contract. PLEASE spare the person you are giving her to and contact puppymillrescue FIRST and make sure that she is not their dog. I'm not trying to make you feel guilty for taking a dog in or not being able to keep her, but Puppymillrescue does put A LOT OF TIME, $$ and HEART into their dogs and would be devestated to know this has happened. By not telling them, they may end up placing another dog with this lady only to have that one end up the same way. Elaine
