[Jan & the M&M's]

Mags gets so excited when somebody pays attention to her (not the family, I'm talking about strangers or friends, people she isn't used to being around). She starts wiggling furiously when they hold her, she's so excited to see them, and then she often chokes and coughs. She just has a little coughing fit and can't get her breath and chokes. So then I take her in my arms, stroke her throat, calm her down, then she's fine when they hold her again.

Do your Yorkies ever do this? She's a year old, weights 3.5 lbs., isn't a hyper little dog, has no breathing problems, has never been in a collar, so I'm not suspecting collapsing trachea. She just goes bonkers when new people are around, and omg, if they talk baby talk to her it's ten times worse!
