Someone once told me to put a small rock (one they can't get in their mouth) in the bowl. Then they would have to eat around it and it would slow them down. The food that I had trouble with one of mine doing that was the Solid Gold Wee Bites. Neither dog seems to do that with the Canidae that they are eating now.
