that is true no matter what is being sold. the lady i got romeo from was selling her dogs "cheap" - $600 for her boys and $700 for her girls. why - she wasn't concerned about making boat loads of money. she said all she wanted was to sell her babies at a fair price and make sure they found good homes. that doesn't mean that someone selling their puppies for $1000 is out to make a quick buck. they know what people would be willing to pay for them - and some people just don't know any better.
