i have already seen many animals put down and spays on pregnant ones a huge dog that died from a snake bit on his face and so much more i do everything there but its no where near as hard as being the actual vet which i have always dreamed of doing BUT now i see what they have to do there is no way i guess it would be perfect for someone who has no family and nothing else to take up their time as the job does it you cant even sleep through a night or get sick theres baby animals without mothers that have to be fed and emergency hit by car or dog attacks or so on people call all times of the night going out to do horse calls in the feild so to speak then everyone wants to know whats going on right now with their animals all at once . pets are sick and scared they bite and scratch and mess they dont mean to and i completely understand i would prob be the same if i couldnt comunicate or understand whats happening! not a place at all for anyone easily stressed upset or with weak stomach! i go home daily covered in poo blood and urine and who knows what else i bring once loved sick pets to be euthanized more than you would think but its the best thing for them! i have even seen wild dogs that have been trapped and put down due to agression towards people or other dogs and so much more i wont go into details but things can get bad. i like it there because i get to learn about and try to help make pets better but it doesnt always happen that way and most people dont understand how or what happens behind the front office and exam rooms i had no idea at all myself until now.
