I suspect that if one hasn't had a background check, given blood and submitted their bank records, they haven't been thoroughly screened as a qualified yorkie owner. Thus, this doggie is doomed. I think that's what she's suggesting. However, what does that say about the hundreds of thousands of yorkie lovers and parents here and around the world who are obviously devoted to their furkids YET obtained their little kids by purchasing them through breeders or otherwise and DIDN'T go through a rescue service or, consequently, the full medical exam ??? Are we unqualified? Are our furkids doomed?

Tell Tahoe (or Johnny Cash) that when I'm dancing him around the house, singing songs for him that I made up myself just for him, cleaning out his eyes when they're clearly irritated and runny, picking up his diarrhea, giving him his medicine daily, taking him to the vet when he has a mild cold or when he LOOKS like his arthritis is acting up, picking the burrs out of his coat and rocks out from between his paw pads when he's limping, or when I'm WALKING him at 5AM, taking him on trips with me because I couldn't possibly leave him in a kennel, taking him with me on camping trips so I don't have to leave him with someone...or weeding out my boyfriends based on whether or not my yorkies get along with him.

No one did a background check on me. I guess I'm not qualified and everyone should feel sad for my poor poor kids.
