I think (for awhile anyway) I would keep them in seperate crates. You just dont know what they could do to eachother. Dakota is no longer crated and has full run of the house but being that I still do not trust Autumn 100% she is crated when we go out and I gate her in my masterbath at bed time. When I brought Autumn home I just let her out of the carrier and let her explore (as we all followed her around - we probably looked like idiots) and just watched to see how the two dogs would interact.
