I didn't let mine next to each other until I had the baby vet checked 1st. Good thing, Piper had giardia & coccidia when we got her. Misha never caught it. I did the same thing with Max. I gated him in the kitchen & away from the other 2 until he went to the vet. They did sniff each other through the gate, but the other 2 didn't get in contact with his poo at all. He checked out clean. Since they were so much bigger, I didn't leave them together unsupervised until I thought Max could hold his own. A couple of months. He is still quite smaller than the other 2, but he knows how to be submissive. He does real well now at 6 months 3.5 lbs. Piper is 9lbs & Misha 8 |
