Okay, I am far from being a breeder, but this is my opinion and only my opinion, so if someone wants to attack it, I don't care because I am entitled to my own opinion. I don't see what's so wrong with a odd colored yorkie. They aren't hurting anything and the yorkie will still be a standard breed. Just because someone breeds for off colors doesn't mean there won't be standards. A lot of breeders are still going to be out there like all of you. That won't change. For now, the off colors will still be yorkies. They still came from yorkie parents didn't they? But maybe 100 years from now, there will be a completely different breed! How do you think the yorkshire terrier came about? Lots of off breeding and in breeding. It's the same thing with all the other breeds out there. They all stemmed from one specific dog and now look how it is today. I personally think off colored yorkies are gorgeous, as well as mixed breed yorkies. The standard yorkies are beatiful also. All of them are. When it really comes down to it, they are all dogs, and are beatiful in their own way, just like every person on this site. Every one of these dogs deserve a home and a family to love them, despite their genetics.

One thing I do agree with most of you on is the price of an off colored puppy. I don't believe they should advertise them as rare then jack up the price. Those type of breeders, IMO, are doing it just for some extra cash.
