If they're in an x-pen all day, you might want to line the whole bottom with newspaper or pee pads.
Urine will eat through the finish. It won't do any damaged if it's on for like, 30 seconds and you clean it up, but if the dog peed at 9am and you're not home till 4pm to clean that up... well it's going to ruin your floors! Also like someone else said, some floors absorb moisture and become warped. |
