Well puppies need more nutrients/protein than an adult dog, so you definitely need to feed him puppy food. If you take the Innova EVO and compare it to puppy food, if it more or less matches up nutritionally, then you might be fine!
Also, I don't think it's good to feed Nutri-Cal too often. It raises glucose levels, but it also brings them down after the initial spike has occurred. All that up-down isn't good and it sort of messes up the dog's electrolyte system. Once a day is fine, but I think 3 times a day, every day, is too much. |
