I have wood floors everywhere except my kitchen (witch is porcelain and my stairs are carpeted because my pug could not get up/down them and my kids were always slipping down them). Thankfully none of my animals have had any accidents on the wood floor (Knock on wood) they are all outdoor trained. My girlfriend has them also and her dog has had many accidents on them and yes it has started to take a toll on the floor. Maybe you could get a litter box or I see some YTers have really neat tents and you could put something on the floor in that and then the pads. Good luck, I know its hard, you love your furbabies so much but you don't want them to destroy your new home! |
